The Conference

Twelve years ago, the consumer credit reporting industry organised its first World Conference in Rome. 

The World Consumer Credit Reporting Conference (WCCRC) 2010 is a two days event where high representatives from Credit Bureaus around the globe as well as industry related companies from various credit cultures will attend to discuss contemporary issues. 150 to 180 delegates - a total of 250 participants including partners are expected.

Until now, the World Conference visited the following cities: 

1998 – Rome
2000 – San Francisco
2002 – Sydney
2004 – Beijing
2006 – Cape Town
2008 – Rio de Janeiro

SCHUFA Holding AG along with the Association of Consumer Credit Information Suppliers (ACCIS) and the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) will be hosting the WCCRC 2010 from 26th September to 28th September 2010 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Berlin.

The topics of the 7th World Conference relate to a large extend to the global financial crisis and the role of the credit reporting industry in alleviating and counteracting its consequences. Representatives operating in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa are welcome to share their experiences and know-how in this respect. A broad range of different aspects in the credit bureau business, its consequences for the finance market as well as interactions with consumers will be discussed in order to identify a common solution and global strategy .
